Dr. Robert Katz

Dr. Robert Katz is a Professor of Medicine at Rush Medical College and affiliated with Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He has a very active clinical rheumatology practice, which also includes his daughter and son-in-law, Alexandra and Ben Small.
He has published over 400 peer-reviewed articles published in medical journals and is an active investigator, especially in the area of fibromyalgia. Dr. Katz is a Best Doctor according to Chicago Magazine and has been in each issue for over 20 years, which includes only 7% of physicians in Illinois.Â
He is in the top 1% of physicians nationally according to U.S. News & World Report. Dr. Katz earned his college B.A. degree from Columbia University, his M.D. from the University of Maryland Medical School, completed his internal medicine training at Barnes Hospital-Washington University in St. Louis, and his rheumatology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a Master of the American College of Rheumatology, their highest award.
